Leave your email or WhatsApp — the full breakdown opens right away, and a specialist can send you a short comment on the priorities.
What each record is for
- A / AAAA — the IPv4 / IPv6 address of the server hosting the site.
- CNAME — an alias pointing to another name (common with CDNs and platforms such as Shopify).
- MX — which servers receive email for the domain.
- NS — who answers DNS queries for the domain (Cloudflare, your registrar, your hosting provider…).
- TXT — SPF, DKIM, Google Search Console verification and other proofs of ownership.
- CAA — which certificate authorities may issue SSL certificates for the domain.
When to use it
After switching hosts or pointing your domain to a new platform, DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours to propagate. The lookup shows what public resolvers already see — handy for confirming the new site is live before you tell your customers.
Frequently asked questions
Does DNS affect SEO?
Indirectly. Slow or unstable DNS delays page loads and can make the site unreachable for Googlebot. A misconfigured record during a migration can wipe out all of your traffic.
Where does the data come from?
We query a public resolver (DNS-over-HTTPS), which returns the same kind of answer most visitors get.
